Position Description

We are seeking a Controller in Chicago.  Their responsibilities would include, but would not be limited to, the following activities:

  • Generate consolidated financial statements
  • Manage tax preparation and financial audit processes
  • Manage bookkeeping process
  • Identify and share best practices for financial controls
  • Support business development initiatives as deemed appropriate

Candidate Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree required, with record of high academic performance
  • CPA certification required
  • Minimum of 10 years business experience in a professional environment
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks
  • High intellect with an ability to learn new concepts
  • Passion for excellence and an attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a member of a team as well as to work independently
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong personal organizational skills
  • Capacity to handle multiple projects and an ability to meet deadlines
  • People-oriented, hard-working, professionally aggressive, with a strong work ethic and stamina
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fluid environment
