Consulting Principal
Position Description
We are interested in recruiting Consulting Principals in Chicago and the following other cities:
- Atlanta
- Boston
- Dallas
- Denver
- Los Angeles
- Miami
- New York
- Philadelphia
- San Francisco
Their responsibilities would include, but would not be limited to, the following activities:
- Generate new business opportunities
- Assist in the manage consulting engagements
- Identify and share best practices regarding managing client engagements
- Demonstrate self-sufficiency in preparing for client meetings and functions
- Support all business development initiatives as deemed appropriate
Candidate Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor and MBA degrees required, with record of high academic performance
- Minimum of 8 plus years demonstrated success in prospecting, nurturing relationships and selling structured financial products or services to the C-Suite
- Demonstrated success in selling proprietary and third-party structured financial products or services
- Strong relationships with financial institutions, high net worth, family offices, endowments, foundations and/or pension funds
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems
- Demonstrated self-sufficiency in preparing of meeting materials
- Passion for excellence and an attention to detail
- Ability to work as a member of a team as well as to work independently
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with strong personal organizational skills
- Capacity to handle multiple projects and an ability to meet deadlines
- People-oriented, hard-working, professionally aggressive, with a strong work ethic and stamina
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fluid environment
